We usually have three meets per month. One weekend meet and two day meets with occasional forays beyond Scotland.
For weekend meets, we stay in bunkhouses, hostels, mountaineering club huts or camp, usually in the Highlands but also across Scotland.
For Day meets we travel from Inverness and surrounding areas and usually make arrangements to car share. We usually have several options on each meet to accommodate folk’s different interests - scrambling, Munros, Corbetts or more modest outings. Club members also meet up at The Ledge climbing gym some weekday evenings.
We don't offer led walks; everyone needs to accept responsibility for their own safety, but club members are willing to share their experience.

Day meets are listed as “venues to be arranged”. We decide a week before the meet where to go. That allows us to assess hill and weather conditions and member preferences.

All weekend meets take place from Friday night to Sunday afternoon unless otherwise stated. Dates listed are the nights the accommodation is booked for. Some members choose to travel during the day on Friday and climb hills on the way, if their schedules permit.

N.b. Spaces cannot be reserved until the meet is advertised by email to members, typically three weeks before the meet dates. All bookings must be made by email.
